February 16 - Photoshoots, New Releases & Number Plates! Saving Hope Foundation & more...

It has been a while since our last update, and what a busy summer it has been. We managed a massive Christmas period, had some time off in the stunning Bay of Islands, got away to Hahei and more recently Rotorua for the storm while thoroughly enjoying the growth of our kiwi start-up.

We now have our Hout & Co cars out and about around town, thanks to Jonathan and Melanie at Blomfield Signs. We are stoked to be representing our brand while running our errands during the day, and if you see a Hout & Co vehicle around, give us a wave, and use our number plates as a code for 30% off till the end of March!

We are really proud of our newly designed items added into our collection, with two new real Pearl items, the St Leonard’s Necklace and Studs, to some classical staples like our Matarangi Huggies and Cable Bay Hoops. Minimalist Chains like our Cable Link Chain, and our chunky new releases, perfect for layering, on your wrist and your neck

We got a fantastic team together in early February to “Indigo Studios” in Ponsonby, who love supporting creative ventures with their outstanding facilities. Our photographer from Todorov Studios, Stef, has produced some amazing content which I am sure some of you have noticed is now flowing through to the website and Instagram. See below for some further BTS images. Some of our brand ambassadors were able to make it in studio for the day and we were able to really energise the team and come away feeling proud of the brand.

With our Giving Back Initiative being 6 months old now, we have supported some fantastic charities doing some great work, chosen by our customers. This February we are supporting Saving Hope Foundation, who aim to protect the welfare of abandoned and abused dogs by providing care and shelter. Spay and neuter dogs to prevent future unwanted animals, and to secure adoptive homes for dogs. They support community awareness of ethical treatment of dogs and all animals.

We have been growing so quickly since December we are struggling to keep our production rates up in line with sales, especially around our Earrings. We get a lot of requests for our statement earrings, and have put processes in place so we should now have moved to have what you want available, when you want it.

As always at Hout & Co, if you have any suggestions for what we can do better, what you like seeing and what pieces you would love to see, the monthly charity, don’t be afraid to drop us an email by replying to this email and be a part of the journey.

We love receiving your feedback.
