We want to inspire you with your Hout & Co purchase, and if you receive your piece/s and are not inspired, you have the opportunity to select another piece/s. 

 

14-day Return for Credit
Hout & Co have a 14-day return for credit policy.
You can return any piece, excluding earrings and "sale" pieces, for an exchange or credit within 14 days of delivery. Subject to meeting the following requirements:
  • You may return your new piece, excluding earrings and "sale" pieces, purchased online at Hout & Co within 14 days of purchase for a store credit equal to the value of your returned piece when purchased.
  • Please contact our support staff to initiate a return. 
  • Please include in the return - your order number, contact details, copy of your shipping confirmation email or order confirmation email and reason for return to Hout & Co Boutique, PO Box 109-108, Newmarket, Auckland.
  • Your piece must be returned in its original protective Hout & Co pouch. 
  • All shipping return charges must be pre-paid by you.
  • Using a discount code at checkout does not preclude you from using this policy. 

All returns are subject to inspection by our Quality Assurance Team before a credit is processed. We will credit you within 5 business days of receiving your returned item.

Pieces are eligible for return provided that they are in “as new condition” and are accompanied by the requested information in the Hout & Co pouch.

You can always contact us for any return-for-credit questions.

*due to hygiene regulations, Hout & Co are unable to exchange earrings.

*definition of 'as new condition': The piece must not have been worn; the piece must be in pristine condition with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear. Determination of an piece matching the definition of “as new condition” is at the sole discretion of Hout & Co.

 

Transit Damage
Please inspect your order upon its arrival to check if there is any damage.

If there is damage in the delivery process, please email hello@houtandco.com and outline the issue with your piece/s including photos and full description of the issue. 

Any issues must be raised within 10 working days of delivery.
Hout & Co will work with you to find a resolution. Please, in the meantime, keep the packaging and pieces in a state as close to how they arrived as possible. 

Damage incurred in transit is not the responsibility of Hout & Co.

 

30 Day Guarantee 
All Hout & Co pieces are all covered by a 30 day guarantee for manufacturing defects. We do our best to check each piece before dispatch for any defects in the manufacturing process, however sometimes small manufacturing defects are missed.
If your piece has a defect, please email hello@houtandco.com and outline the issue with your piece/s including photos and full description of the defect.

We will happily work with you to resolve the issue with proof of defect. 

 

Incorrect Piece/s
If you received the wrong piece/s, please contact us and we can resolve this issue immediately.

 

Hout & Co will meet all obligations set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act (1993) and the Fair Trading Act (1986).
